Interest Groups and Workshops Brainstorming - Monochrome Images in Lightroom

When
26th September, 2023 – 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm

Workshop

On 26th September we will be meeting in the Clubrooms and on Zoom.

We intend to split the evening into two, hour long sessions:

1st hour – Following up on the recent brainstorming session.

The information from the recent brainstorming session has now been collated and has given the Committee valuable information about what workshops/courses and interest groups Club members would like to pursue.

We have identified the six highest scoring workshops/courses and on the 26th we want to get member’s input into what topics they would like included in each of these workshops/courses. This information will allow us to develop appropriate workshops/courses that are relevant, meaningful and useful in the development of member’s photographic skills and knowledge in their areas of interest.

2nd hour – Working with monochrome images.

As our first competition in 2024 will be Monochrome, the second half of the evening will be devoted to:

  • How to take effective monochrome images
  • Which colour images could be successfully converted to monochrome
  • How to get the best out of a monochrome image in Lightroom

Members who have images they would like to see converted to Monochrome may send them to webmaster@williamstowncameraclub.com.au by 5pm Tuesday September 26th and we will use them during the night.

We hope you can all attend as we (the Committee) are eager to hear your ideas.
